Flame Retardant Nonwoven fabric is made up of polypropylene with fire retardant additives. In the furniture industry, in order to protect against the rapid burning of some furniture caused by fire, we add fireproof masterbatch to the non-woven fabric. Our GSM range is from 10 to 200g and maximum width of 1.6m and 3.2m.
Flame Retardant Non woven fabric imparts superior UV resistance, light stability, thermal stability, excellent polymer compatibility, and high extraction and plate out resistance. On continuous contact to fire, it gives negligible smoke and dripping effect. Under an external heat flux, the additives can form a shield with a low thermal conductivity that can reduce the heat transfer from the heat source to the material. It has multiple usages such as used as thermal liners in protective garments, Fire-blockers for Seat and Upholstery, flexible insulation panels for building construction, and many more.
